User Accounts

Username

The user account in ICEflo is based on the unique email address of the individual user. A user account with a nominated email address may therefore be a member of a single ICEflo instance only.

Password Rules

The minimum length of an ICEflo user password is 8 characters. The password must contain a mixture of alpha-numeric characters. Passwords never expire.

Initial Password Setup

When a new user is created in ICEflo by the nominated administrator, a welcome email is sent to the user. This email includes a link that re-directs the user to the Initial Password definition page. The user creates their initial password and is then able to use the ICEflo service. At no time does the Administrator know the actual user password.

Password Reset Procedure

If a user forgets their password, the administrator or end user is able to initiate a password reset process. The reset process sends an email to the end user and repeats the initial password setup functionality.
