Server Security

The ICEflo service is composed of different technical services running on several Virtual Machines. Each of these virtual machines is a server in it's own right and is subject to rigorous server security management procedures.

Secure Operating System Build

With our background in enterprise financial services, Agenor's technical consultants have solid experience of creating servers with secure operating system builds - often referred to as a "hardened" build. Each server operating system has been carefully configured to provide only the functional and operational services required. Any ancillary and redundant operating system components have been removed or securely suppressed.

Active Patch Management

Agenor recognises that security management is a process rather than a one-off configuration event. As part of the RackSpace Managed Service, all our servers are subject to pro-active patch management of the operating system. These regular changes are planned and executed by RackSpace staff, in coordination with Agenor operations staff.

Active Security Monitoring

Agenor subscribe to the NetCraft security monitoring service which provides independent monitoring and advisory notices regarding server security. The pro-active patch management process means that we regularly address potential security exposures before NetCraft reports them. On other occasions, we respond to NetCraft advisory notices to address any potential vulnerabilities identified.
